About Ginkgo Biloba Extracts: There are some very beneficial compounds in Ginkgo, including a variety of Flavonglycosides, but there is also a very toxic one - Ginkgolic Acid. Our extract is manufactured to contain a minimum of 28.5mg of Flavonglycosides and less than 5 parts per million of Ginkgolic Acid. So don't just compare the price of your Ginkgo Biloba tablets, make sure they have enough Flavonglycosides to be effective and no more than 5 ppm Ginkgolic Acid.
Don't make the mistake of thinking that Ginkgo tea is as good for you as tablets, there are such tiny amounts of Flavonglycosides in the leaves and there is no way of telling how much Ginkgolic Acid is in it that, at best, it will have no benefit and, at worst, it could be very toxic.
