Aloe Vera Gel
The leaves of the Aloe vera plant contain a natural gel that is wonderfully cooling and soothing for skin. Traditionally used for burns, aloe vera gel can be used as an aftersun, a light moisturiser, or a facial refresher. It is hydrating, contains no oil and won’t clog pores. Any skin that is damaged, dry, itchy or inflamed can benefit from ait.
100ml bottles are suitable for carry-on luggage when flying. The disc top cap is secure, convenient and less likely to leak than a flip top.
Aloe vera gel is water-based and is rich in vitamins, minerals, enzymes, amino acids. Those of note include:
– Vitamins A, C and E (antioxidants) as well as B9 and B12.
– Minerals like calcium, chromium, copper, selenium, magnesium, manganese, potassium, sodium and zinc
– Sugars, sterols and phenolic compounds with analgesic, anti-inflammatory, anti-allergenic, antibacterial and antiseptic properties.
– 8 enzymes, including bradykinase, which reduces inflammation.
– Amino acids and plant hormones that aid in wound healing, cleansing and helps the penetration of actives into the skin.
