Our Wholefood Zinc capsules are made from guava leaf, which is a rich source of other antioxidants, such as Quercetin, Lycopene and Beta-Carotene, as well as polyphenols, tannins and flavonoids.
Zinc is a trace mineral, vital for countless processes in the body. Being Wholefood and 100% natural, ours is well absorbed and highly bioavailable.
Note: The Tolerable Upper Intake Level (UL) for zinc is considered to be 40mg daily for most adults aged 19+. Higher doses than this are likely to cause negative side effects such as nausea, diarrhoea, suppressed immune function, copper deficiency and lower HDL (good) cholesterol.
Directions
- Take 1 capsule daily for general health maintenance.
- Take up to 2 capsules daily for short term, acute health support, or as directed by a health practitioner.
- Take at least 1 hour before food. If stomach upset occurs, take with food.

Cautions
- Do not take with antibiotics or immunosuppressants.
- Leave at least 2 hours between taking zinc and taking copper, iron or phosphorous.
