Essential oils have many therapeutic benefits and are free from artificial or chemical perfumes, preservatives and other potentially harmful substances, such as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs).

The blue glass bottles are equipped with a dropper and a child-proof cap.

The Oils

• Tangerine
  • Tangerine's zingy citrus aroma is slightly warmer than orange but has the same mood enhancing properties.
    
  • Cold pressed from the peel of the fruit.
• Clary Sage
  • Clary sage has a soft and herbal fragrance, nothing like the 'Sunday roast stuffing' smell of normal sage.  It is restorative and helpful in times of transition.
  • Steam distilled from the leaves and stalks.
• Jasmine 5%
  
  • Jasmine is a wonderful yet very expensive essential oil. We use a 5% dilution in Jojoba oil to harness the benefits while keeping the cost reasonable. It is a sensual, floral fragrance.
    
  • Extracted with solvent from the flowers.
• Petitgrain
  • Petitgrain comes from the leaves of the bitter orange tree. It retains the orange aroma but is more mellow and floral than citrus oils and not as invigorating.
    
  • Steam distilled from the leaves.
• Patchouli
  • Patchouli has an exotic floral aroma, putting many in mind of the 1960s! It is grounding and can help to balance mood.
  • Steam distilled from the leaves.
• North Indian Rosewood*
  • Rosewood is a lovely floral aroma with woody and slightly spicy undertones. It is comforting and warming.
• • Steam distilled from the chipped bark.

*Many of the true rosewoods in the Dalbergia genus are endangered. We only use Dalbergia sissoo for our essential oil, the status of which is 'Of Least Concern'.

Cautions

• Essential oil blends are concentrated and should not be applied to the skin undiluted. If this occurs wash skin well with water and soap.
• Do not ingest. If this occurs seek medical advice. For external use only.
• Do not use if pregnant.

Citrus reticulata peel oil (Tangerine essential oil), Salvia scalera leaf oil (Clary sage essential oil), Jasminum officinale flower oil (Jasmine essential oil) in Simmondsia chinensis oil (Jojoba oil), Citrus aurantium oil (Petitgrain essential oil), Pogostemon cablin flower oil (Patchouli essential oil), Dalbergia sissoo oil (Rosewood essential oil).
