Beta Ecdysterone is a phytoecdysteroid, a completely plant-based and natural compound. It is found in many plants including spinach, ours is sourced from Cyanotis arachnoidea. We use a potent 98% extract with added Black Pepper extract for maximum benefit and bioavailability.

Directions
- Take 1-2 capsules daily with food (ideally high-protein).
Start with one capsule a day and increase as needed. A maximum of four capsules a day may be taken, depending on build and activity level.
For best results we suggest taking Beta Ecdysterone in cycles. For example, 10 days on 5 days off, or 12 weeks on 4 weeks off.

Information
Phytoecdysteroids are triterpenoids. They can increase muscle mass by enhancing protein synthesis and decreasing catabolism. They are found in many plants, including quinoa, asparagus and spinach. As well as being taken as supplements, ecdysteroids are synthesised from dietary cholesterol once metabolised. They then play a role in morphogenesis (this is the process required for tissue development). They have similar structure to androgenic hormones, but they don’t bind to androgen receptors, so can’t be used as hormone replacement therapy. What makes ecdysteroids so safe and well-tolerated, is that they promote anabolic activity without interfering with the natural hormone activity in the body. Research has demonstrated that ecdysteroids can increase muscle mass to a similar extent as restricted performance enhancers, with no side effects reported, no toxicity reported, and without triggering hormonal responses. They do not add hormones to your body, so there are no side effects associated with ingesting exogenous T or T-like compounds, such as gynecomastia, mood fluctuations, liver problems, increased risk of blood clots etc. As well as this, they can help lower blood sugar and cholesterol, increase insulin sensitivity and support the immune system.
